I should hate this more than I do.
Yes, that is a 335i with basically every M-Sport race-y "performance" part on it. I particularly like the wheels, which are a $4,500 option by themselves.
Though for the $64,480 as configured, I'd probably just spend a little more cash and get an actual M3 with actual functioning race bits on it.

Exactly

You dont need to feel anything. Thats why they make both. You could start your hatred when they stop selling the option of a manual stick shifter.

$64k for a not-M3...
Who is this thing for? People who enjoy posing and wasting their money at the same time?

I dunno
One thing to be fair to the buyers though - the real world buying costs can be very different for 2 reasons:
1) the 335 depreciates way harder, so you can get a 1 or 2 year old one for way less than a 1 or 2 year old M3
2) i'm guessing most 335 buyers lease the car, and BMW gives smoking hot lease deals on the 335 but shitty lease deals on the M3
my buddy just leased a 335i M Sport with an MSRP of $56,500 for $400 a month flat. and he only put a little over $2K money down
HELL OF A DEAL!

Better be good at dodging potholes because those rubber bands don't look like they can take too much punishment.
Also $4500 get can you a really nice set of wheels and those look like they came out of an advertisement in Super Street circa the year 2000.

Re: #2
Very wrong, 66% residual for March on a 36 month lease is crazy good.
Both the M3 and M4 have some very decent leases going on if you're willing to work for it

really? That's awesome!!!
I had heard that they are not as willing to deal on the M3
But I guess if you're willing to work it you can get a good deal on any BMW
BMW is king of cheap leases right now.
The deal my friend got is insane.
I wonder how low of a payment I could get on an M5

They're trying to move M3 off of the lots quite aggressively, if you can find them you can get a killer lease. I'm talking 550-600/month for a decently option M3. M6 GCs are stuck on lots too. They're just sitting there with $10k on the hood, no buyers.
M4 are more difficult to work a deal on but $500 above invoice isn't unheard of.

That is awesome!
M3 for that price is a steal
A 6 GC would be classy as fuck
Are you going DCT or Manuél?
My E90 M3 is DCT. I wish it was stick

M4 DCT, I've driven it and love it.

I bet the DCT is improved a bit in the new car
I do love the DCT in heavy traffic
My other cars are stick and SMG. DCT is a lifesaver in auto mode if stuck in LA and needing to make business calls
